The weather in DC has been a roller coaster of warm days sandwiched between cooler ones. But despite not quite knowing what coat to wear day-to-day, I’m still craving cozy winter drinks. Cozy drinks can be warming, delicious, and can include healthful ingredients like superfoods, antioxidant-filled vitamins and minerals, and adaptogens. There is nothing quite like a hot cup of coffee brewed using your best coffee maker with grinder after all. Here is a round-up of some of my favorite cozy winter drinks plus a few ‘new-to-me’ ones that I’ve bookmarked to try!
The Chalkboard | Turmeric Latte
Turmeric Latte’s are my go-to favorite and a great way to unwind from a long day.
Spice + Sprout | Honey + Ginger + Black Pepper Spiced Rooibos Tea Latte
This is a variation on a Tea Latte I look forward to trying.
Love and Lemons | Matcha Coconut Latte
Matcha Latte’s are my daily go-to drink instead of coffee and though I try variations, this version is my favorite.
The First Mess | Ginger Majick Toddy
I can’t wait to try this one for the color alone!
Love and Lemons | Maca Cacao Hot Chocolate
Nothing beats cozy comfort more than hot chocolate! Including the stress reducing adaptogen, Maca into Hot Chocolate adds more healthful benefits to the drink when paired with Cacao.
