Three cheers for making it to the weekend! I know the holidays just ended, but I’m so looking forward to some downtime this weekend to really get organized and focused for the new year by: starting a new bullet journal, finishing my vision board, and knocking some miscellaneous things off of my to-do list. I also hope to have a little fun too. Here’s some reading materials to keep you occupied this weekend.
Loved reading this morning routine from one of my faves.
Liked this pillow case cover for my couch.
How to make a caffeine free “super potion.”
How to keep a food diary without losing your mind.
Found it interesting that author Chiamanda Ngozi Adiche has committed to only wearing Nigerian designers.
In case you are an introvert (or know one): How to network without feeling awkward.
Also for the introverts: 6 texts to send when you need to cancel plans
The Serena Williams profile in Vogue if you haven’t already.
Found it alarming to read about Serena’s harrowing experience after the birth of her daughter (so glad it worked out!). But the reality is Black women in America die shortly after giving birth after at alarming rates.
