Food Should Taste Good Chips + Giveaway

August 25, 2014

For better or for worse, I sometimes have a serious snack craving.  I also happen to love the occasional savory snack in the form of chips.  It’s an indulgence I try to balance out with veggies, fruits, and healthy fats, but it’s definitely there.  I’ve seen the brand Food Should Taste Good(FSTG) in my local grocery store but had yet to to try them until recently.  I decided to take some chips with me on a weekend excursion to the park so I could enjoy the beautiful weather without “hangry” pangs.  After trying a few flavors of the chips: Olive Oil, Sweet Potato and Guacamole,  I have to say that I do enjoy them.  They are crunchy with lots of flavor, but not too salty.  I ate the chips on their own.  But I think many flavors of the chips will pair well with dips and salsa.  The chips I tasted satisfy my snack craving and I feel better about indulging in them occasionally after learning that they are non-GMO, gluten free, trans-fat free, and are available in vegan varieties.

So for the remainder of the winter, I have four books on my to-read list.

  • Claire of the Sea Light – I found Edwidge Dandicat’s past books, quite compelling, so I’ve added her most recent novel to my list.
  • Financially Fearless – Learn Vest is one of my favorite sites for personal financial advice, so I thought this would be a good read to check out for inspiration.
  • Where’d You Go Bernadette – I’ve heard good things about this book from the blogosphere, so I’ve already picked up a copy from the library to read.
  • Adé –  I saw this book (written by Alice Walker’s daughter) recommended on Twitter earlier this month, so I decided to give it a try.

Let’s read some great books in 2014!
